Project Summary

The Ethnicity and Language extract provides patient level data from GP records where this information is not available in the Barts Health NHS Trust system for their active patients.

The data provided is uploaded into the Barts Health NHS Trust system and aids in patient care and reporting.

Project population

All patients registered at GP practices within the North East London ICB area of care who are active patients at Barts Health NHS Trust.

Project cohort

All active patients at Barts Health NHS Trust who do not have a registered ethnicity, language, or mobile number in the hospital system.

Project criteria

For active patients where the ethnicity and/or language and/or mobile number is not recorded in the hospital system, the following is provided:

NHS Number
DOB
Surname
Ethnicity (content will be null if not available)
Ethnic category (content will be null if not available)
Language (content will be null if not available)
Mobile (content will be null if not available)
Date of death (content will be null if not available)

Data state

Patient identifiable.
